Theloderma gordoni Taylor, 1962, Univ. Kansas Sci. Bull., 43: 511. Holotype: EHT 33741, by original designation; now FMNH 172248 according to Inger in Frost, 1985, Amph. Species World: 550. Type locality: "Doi Suthep, above 4000 ft., Chiang Mai, Chiang Mai province", Thailand.

English Names

Gordon's Bug-eyed Frog (Frank and Ramus, 1995, Compl. Guide Scient. Common Names Amph. Rept. World: 114).

Gordon's Warted Frog (Nutphund, 2001, Amph. Thailand: 152).

Large Warted Treefrog (Chan-ard, 2003, Photograph. Guide Amph. Thailand: 164).

Distribution

Known only from the type locality (Chiang Mai Province, northwestern Thailand) and localities in northern Vietnam (provinces of Lao Cai, Lai Chau, Vinh Phu, Bac Thai, Cao Bang, Long Son, Gia Lai, and Kon Tun); presumably in intervening Laos and in adjacent Yunnan, China.
