Comment

The placement in Theloderma is provisional, based on the inclusion by Fei, Hu, Ye, and Huang, 2009, Fauna Sinica, Amph. 2: 712, Theloderma within Aquixalus, and that statement that Aquixalus beibengensis is close to Aquixalus albopunctatus (now a synonym of Theloderma asperum). Fei, Ye, and Jiang, 2010, Colored Atlas of Chinese Amph.: 425-383, provided a brief account (as Aquixalus baibungensis) including photographs of specimens.
