Rhacophorus yinggelingensis Chou, Lau, and Chan, 2007, Raffles Bull. Zool., 55: 158. Holotype: NMNS 4091, by original designatio. Type locality: "CHINA: Hainan Island: Yinggeling: Mahuoling: 18° 57′ 23.4″ N 109° 23′ 02.1″ E, at an elevation of 1,300 m".
Yaoshan Treefrog (Fei, Ye, and Jiang, 2010, Colored Atlas of Chinese Amph.: 476).
Known only from elevations at or above 1300 m in primary rainforest in the Yinggeling Mountains of Hainan, China.
Similary to Rhacophorus dennysi according to the original publication. Fei, Hu, Ye, and Huang, 2009, Fauna Sinica, Amph. 2: 865-867, provided an account, spot map for China, and considered this species a member of their Rhacophorus dugritei group. Fei, Ye, and Jiang, 2010, Colored Atlas of Chinese Amph.: 476-477, provided a brief account including photographs of specimens and habitat. Shi, 2011, Amph. Rept. Fauna Hainan: 61, provided an account.
