Comment

Removed from the synonymy of Rhacophorus dugritei by Li, Wu, and Zhao, 2006, Sichuan J. Zool., 25: 12-16 (on the basis of karyological evidence), where it had been placed by Liu, 1950, Fieldiana, Zool. Mem., 2: 373. Li, Wu, and Zhao, 2006, Sichuan J. Zool., 25: 12-16, reported on the karyological distinctiveness of this species from the very similar Rhacophorus dugritei. See statement of geographic range, habitat, and conservation status (as Polypedates zhaojuensis) in Stuart, Hoffmann, Chanson, Cox, Berridge, Ramani, and Young, 2008, Threatened Amph. World: 635. In the Rhacophorus dugritei group of Li, Liu, Chen, Wu, Murphy, Zhao, Wang, and Zhang, 2012, Zool. J. Linn. Soc., 165: 143-162, who confirmed the synonymy of Polypedates zhaojuensis.
