Rhacophorus hongchibaensis Li, Liu, Chen, Wu, Murphy, Zhao, Wang, and Zhang, 2012, Zool. J. Linn. Soc., 165: 150. Holotype: CIB 97687, by original designation. Type locality: "Hongchiba, Wuxi County, Chongqing, China (31° 32′ 26.92″ N, 109° 03′ 51.19″ E, elevation 1747 m a.s.l."
