Rhacophorus calcaneus Smith, 1924, Proc. Zool. Soc. London, 1924: 228. Holotype: BMNH (formerly M. Smith 2409), according to XXX. Type locality: "Langbian Peaks, alt. 2000 m., S. Annam", Vietnam.

Rhacophorus chuyangsinensis Orlov, Nguyen, and Ho, 2008, Russ. J. Herpetol., 15: 68. Holotype: ZISP 8179, by original designation. Type locality: "Chu Yang Sin National Park, Krong Bong District, south part of Dac Lac Province, central Vietnam, 12° 25′ 28.3″ N 108° 21′ 04.1″ E, altitude 1600 m a.s.l. (primary forest on mountain slope)". Synonymy by Orlov, Poyarkov, Vassilieva, Ananjeva, Nguyen, Sang, and Geissler, 2012, Russ. J. Herpetol., 19: 23.

Distribution

Known with certainty only from 1) Chu Yang Sin National Park, Krong Bong and Lak districts, Dak Lak Province; 2) Bidoup-Nui Ba National Park, Lam Dong; 3) type locality (Langian Peaks), Vietnam.

Comment

In the Rhacophorus calcaneus group of Orlov, Poyarkov, Vassilieva, Ananjeva, Nguyen, Sang, and Geissler, 2012, Russ. J. Herpetol., 19: 23-64, who noted extensive confusion with Rhacophorus robertingeri in the literature and who discussed previous confusion in the range.
