Rhacophorus arvalis Lue, Lai, and Chen, 1995, J. Herpetol., 29: 339. Holotype: NTNUB 169001, by original designation. Type locality: "Minhsiung (120° 33′ E, 23° 33′ N, elevation about 50 m, . . . ), 12 km N Chiai City, Chiai Hsien, Taiwan", China.

Farmland Green Treefrog (Lue, Tu, and Hsiang, 1999, Atlas Taiwan Amph. Rept.: 52).

Distribution

Agricultural areas in Chiayi, Yunlin, and Tainan counties in southwestern Taiwan, China, up to 1000 m elevation.

See map, description of geographic range and habitat, and conservation status in Stuart, Hoffmann, Chanson, Cox, Berridge, Ramani, and Young, 2008, Threatened Amph. World: 538. Fei, Hu, Ye, and Huang, 2009, Fauna Sinica, Amph. 2: 817-822, provided an account, spot map, and considered this species a member of their Rhacophorus moltrechti group. Fei, Ye, and Jiang, 2010, Colored Atlas of Chinese Amph.: 449, provided a brief account for China including photographs of specimens.
