Philautus dubois Biju and Bossuyt, 2006, Amphibia-Reptilia, 27: 5. Holotype: BNHM 4281, by original designation. Type locality: "at an altitude of 1900 m elevation, from Kodaikanal, 10° 13′ N, 77° 29′ E, in Dindigal Anna district, Tamil Nadu, India". Species name is a noun in apposition.

Philautus duboisi — Frost, 2007, Amph. Spec. World Online, vers. 5.0: . Error for Philautus duboisi.

Pseudophilautus dubois — Li, Che, Murphy, Zhao, Zhao, Rao, and Zhang, 2009, Mol. Phylogenet. Evol., 53: 519. Provisional change by implication.

Raorchestes dubois — Biju, Shouche, Dubois, Dutta, and Bossuyt, 2010, Curr. Sci., Bangalore, 98: 1120. By implication.

English Names

Koadaikanal Bush Frog (Dinesh, Radhakrishnan, Gururaja, and Bhatta, 2009, Rec. Zool. Surv. India, Occas. Pap., 302: 98).

Distribution

Known only from the southern Western Ghats in the vicinity of the type locality (Kodaikanal), Tamil Nadu, India, 1900-2300 m elevation.
