Philautus pardus Meegaskumbura, Manamendra-Arachchi, Schneider, and Pethiyagoda, 2007, Zootaxa, 1397: 3. Holotype: BMNH 1947.2.7.96, by original designation (a syntype of Ixalus variabilis Günther, 1859. Type locality: "Sri Lanka" (imprecise locality).

Distribution
Known only from the sole specimen from the imprecise type locality (Sri Lanka); considered extinct in the original publication.
Comment
Most similar to Philautus viridis and Philautus stuarti according to the original publication.
