Philautus ocularis Manamendra-Arachchi and Pethiyagoda, 2005, Raffles Bull. Zool., Suppl., 12: 280. Holotype: WHT 2360, by original designation. Type locality: "Morningside Forest Reserve (near Rakwana), alt. 1060 m (06° 24′ N, 80° 38′ E)", Sri Lanka.
