Pseudophilautus hankeni Meegaskumbura and Manamendra-Arachchi, 2011, Zootaxa, 2747: 13. Holotype: WHT 6304, by original designation. Type locality: "Bambarella, Knuckles, alt. 1490 m (7° 26′ N, 80° 46′ E)".

Comment
Most similar to, and the sister taxon of, Pseudophilautus schmarda according to the original publication.
