Philautus cuspis Manamendra-Arachchi and Pethiyagoda, 2005, Raffles Bull. Zool., Suppl., 12: 232. Holotype: WHT 1177(e), by original designation. Type locality: "Koskulana (near Panapola), alt. 460 m (06° 25′ N, 80° 27′ E)", Sri Lanka.

Distribution
Low elevation wet forest at 150-660 m elevation in the Sinharana region, southwestern Sri Lanka.

Resembles Pseudophilautus malcolmsmithi (as Philautus) according to the original publication.
