Rhacophorus (Rhacophorus) zed Dubois, 1987 "1986", Alytes, 5: 86. Holotype: MNHNP 1983.1141, by original designation. Type locality: "Narayanghat, 310 m, Terai du Centre-Nepal".

Distribution
Known only from the type locality (Narayanghat, Chitwan District, central Nepal), although presumably in adjacent India.
Comment
In the Rhacophorus leucomystax group according to the original publication. Anders, 2002, in Schleich and Kästle (eds.), Amph. Rept. Nepal: 334-336, provided an account, figure, and map for the Nepal population. See Shah and Tiwari, 2004, Herpetofauna Nepal: 81, for brief account.
