Atelopus siranus Lötters and Henzl, 2000, J. Herpetol., 34: 169. Holotype: NHMW 33906.2, by original designation. Type locality: "Serranía de Sira, Departamento Huánuco, Peru".

Distribution

Known only from the type locality, the isolated mountain range of the Serranía de Sira, Departamento Huánuco, Peru.

Comment

Most similar to Atelopus erythropus and Atelopus tricolor according to the original publication. Lötters, 2005, in Rueda-Almonacid et al. (eds.), Ranas Arlequines: 131, provided a brief account, photograph, and map.
