Philautus similipalensis Dutta, 2003, Russ. J. Herpetol., 10: 26. Holotype: ZSIC A 9061, by original designation. Type locality: "Gurguria, ca. 770 m altitude, proposed Similipal Biosphere Reserve (21° 44′ N; 86° 8′ E), Orissa state, south-eastern India, . . . , from below rotten Sal leaves near the river bank Khairi".

English Names

Similipal Bush Frog (Dinesh, Radhakrishnan, Gururaja, and Bhatta, 2009, Rec. Zool. Surv. India, Occas. Pap., 302: 109).

Distribution

Known only from the type locality (Gurguria, ca. 770 m altitude, proposed Similipal Biosphere Reserve, 21° 44′ N, 86° 8′ E, Orissa state, south-eastern India).

Comment

A candidate for evaluation as to whether a member of Pseudophilautus (DRF).
