Philautus sanctisilvaticus Das and Chanda, 1997, Hamadryad, 22: 21. Holotype: ZSIC A1778, by original designation. Type locality: "Kapildhara Falls, Amarkantak (23° 10′ N; 81° 70′ E), ca. 190 km SE Jabalpur City, Shahdol, Jabalpur District, Madhya Pradesh, central India."

English Names

Sacred Grove Bush Frog (Das and Dutta, 1998, Hamadryad, 23: 66; Dinesh, Radhakrishnan, Gururaja, and Bhatta, 2009, Rec. Zool. Surv. India, Occas. Pap., 302: 108).

Distribution

Known only from the type locality, Kapildhara Falls, Markantak, Jabalpur District, Madhya Pradesh, east-central India, 190 m elevation.
