Distribution

Known from the type locality (Darjeeling, West Bengal) and in Arunachal Pradesh in northeastern India; possibly into adjacent Nepal.

Chanda, 2002, Handb. Indian Amph.: 175, provided a brief account (based in part on Rhacophorus microdiscus according to Dutta, 1997, Amph. India Sri Lanka: 101). Sarkar, Biswas, and Ray, 1992, State Fauna Ser., 3: 93, provided a brief account for West Bengal, India. Dutta, 1997, Amph. India Sri Lanka: 101-102, provided taxonomic notes, bibliography, and range. Sarkar and Ray, 2006, In Alfred (ed.), Fauna of Arunachal Pradesh, Part 1: 311, provided a brief report for Arunachal Pradesh (as Rhacophorus jerdonii).
