Atelopus pictiventris Kattan, 1986, Caldasia, 14: 651. Holotype: UVC 6027, by original designation. Type locality: "Estación Corea, 2600 m, Parque Nacional Farallones de Cali, Departamento del Valle, Colombia".

English Names

Painted Stubfoot Toad (Frank and Ramus, 1995, Compl. Guide Scient. Common Names Amph. Rept. World: 39).

Distribution

Known only from the type locality in humid montane forest of the Cordillera Occidental, Departamento del Valle, Colombia, ca. 2600 m elevation.
