Atelopus onorei Coloma, Lötters, Duellman, and Miranda-Leiva, 2007, Zootaxa, 1557: 16. Holotype: QCAZ 1860, by original designation. Type locality: "Ecuador: Provincia Azuay: 10-15 Km E Luz Maria, Rio Chipla (2° 47′ 24″S, 79° 21′ 36″ W), approx. 2500 m above sea level".

English Names

None noted.

Distribution

Known only from the type locality in cloud forest in the Azuay Basin of the western slope of the Cordillera Occidental of Azuay Province, Ecuador, 2500 m elevation.

Comment

Confused with Atelopus bomolochos prior to its description according to the original publication.
