Philautus medogensis Ye and Hu, 1984, Acta Herpetol. Sinica, Chengdu, N.S.,, 3 (4): 67, 69. Holotype: CIB 73II0051, by original designation. Type locality: "Medog County, Xizang Autonomous Region [= Tibet], altitude 1,500 m", China; given as "Xigonghu, Motuo, Xizang, China" by Li, Chen, Li, Lv, and Wang, 2011, Asian Herpetol. Res., Ser. 2, 2: 132.

Distribution

Known only from the type locality (Medog County, Xizang, China); presumably to be found in adjacent Arunachal Pradesh, northeastern India.
