Chirixalus doriae Boulenger, 1893, Ann. Mus. Civ. Stor. Nat. Genova, Ser. 2, 13: 341. Syntypes: Original 6 specimens according to Hallermann, 2006, Mitt. Hamburg. Zool. Mus. Inst., 103: 139, including MSNG, NHMW 16556 (according to Häupl and Tiedemann, 1978, Kat. Wiss. Samml. Naturhist. Mus. Wien, 2: 15, and Häupl, Tiedemann, and Grillitsch, 1994, Kat. Wiss. Samml. Naturhist. Mus. Wien, 9: 19), and BMNH; MSNG 29426A designated lectotype by Capocaccia, 1957, Ann. Mus. Civ. Stor. Nat. Genova, Ser. 3, 69: 217; lectotype now lost according to Hallermann, 2006, Mitt. Hamburg. Zool. Mus. Inst., 103: 139. Type locality: "District of the Karin Bia-po" (5 specimens) and "Thao" (1 specimen), Myanmar; data associated with NHMW syntype is "Karin-Gebirge, Burma" Myanmar; restricted to Karin Bia-po by lectotype designation. Hallermann, 2006, Mitt. Hamburg. Zool. Mus. Inst., 103: 139, doubted that status of the NHMW specimen and suggested that ZMH A03145 is a syntype.

Distribution

Extreme northeastern India (Arunachal Pradesh), adjacent northeastern Bangladesh and through northern Myanmar, northern Thailand, Laos, southwestern Cambodia, and central and northern Vietnam to Yunnan, Guangdong, and Hainan I., China.
