Philautus longricrus Rao, 1937, Proc. Indian Acad. Sci., Ser. B, 6: 414. Holotype: CCB, now lost according to Dubois, 1984, Alytes, 3: 157. Type locality: "Kempholey, Hassan", Karnataka, India. Junior secondary homonym of Ixalus longicrus Boulenger, 1894.
Philautus crnri Dutta, 1985, J. Bombay Nat. Hist. Soc., 82: 219. Replacement name for Philautus longricrus Rao, 1937, a junior secondary homonym of Ixalus longicrus in Philautus.
Philautus cruri — Duellman, 1993, Univ. Kansas Mus. Nat. Hist. Spec. Publ., 21: 290. Incorrect subsequent spelling.
