Comment

Fei, 1999, Atlas Amph. China: 230-231, provided a brief account, map, and figure (as Rana tormotus). Huang, 1990, Fauna Zhejiang, Amph. Rept.: 77-78, provided an account (as Rana tormotus). Cai, Che, Pang, Zhao, and Zhang, 2007, Zootaxa, 1531: 49-55, suggested that this species is the sister taxon of Odorrana versabilis + Odorrana nasica. See discussion by Li and Lu, 2008, Asiat. Herpetol. Res., 11: 57-61. See photograph, map, description of geographic range and habitat, and conservation status (as Amolops tormotus) in Stuart, Hoffmann, Chanson, Cox, Berridge, Ramani, and Young, 2008, Threatened Amph. World: 476. Fei, Hu, Ye, and Huang, 2009, Fauna Sinica, Amph. 3: 1214-1219, provided an account, figures, and map and placed it in their monotypic Odorrana (Odorrana) tormota group. Fei, Ye, and Jiang, 2010, Colored Atlas of Chinese Amph.: 346-347, provided a brief account including photographs of specimens and habitat.
