Atelopus spumarius andinus Rivero, 1968, Caribb. J. Sci., 8: 23. Holotype: AMNH 43200 (erroneously cited as 4300 in the original publication, according to Lötters, 1996, Neotrop. Toad Genus Atelopus: 49). Type locality: "Upper Biabo Valley, Perú".

Distribution

Upper Río Biabo valley in the Amazon basin of eastern Peru (Departamentos San Martín and Loreto), 1000-2000 m elevation.
