Mell, No. 1560", presumably transferred NHMW, but not there now, and presumed lost by Bain, Lathrop, Murphy, Orlov, and Ho, 2003, Am. Mus. Novit., 3417: 27. Type locality: "Lung Tao Shan [= Mt. Longtou], North Kwangtung [= Guangdong Province]", China.

Removed from the synonymy of Rana livida by Bain, Lathrop, Murphy, Orlov, and Ho, 2003, Am. Mus. Novit., 3417: 27 (who provided an account on page 27-28), where it had been placed by Bourret, 1942, Batr. Indochine: 371; Liu and Hu, 1961, Tailless Amph. China: 211.
