Rana gigatympana Orlov, Ananjeva, and Ho, 2006, Russ. J. Herpetol., 13: 156. Holotype: ZISP 7574, by original designation. Type locality: "Mang Canh village, Konplong district, Kon Tum province, Vietnam (14° 38′ 96″ N 108°17′ 82″ E, 1150 m elevation)".
