Distribution

High-gradient streams in Yunnan (Hekou and Luchun counties), China, and northwestern montane Vietnam (Sa Pa, Lao Cai Province), 800-1700 m elevation; expected in adjacent northern Laos.

China: 240-241, provideds brief accounts figure, and map (as Amolops macrorhynchus). Nguyen, Ho, and Nguyen, 2005, Checklist Amph. Rept. Vietnam: 18, provided specific localities in Vietnam, including what is now Odorrana geminata. Frost, Grant, Faivovich, Bain, Haas, Haddad, de Sá, Channing, Wilkinson, Donnellan, Raxworthy, Campbell, Blotto, Moler, Drewes, Nussbaum, Lynch, Green, and Wheeler, 2006, Bull. Am. Mus. Nat.
