Meristogenys dyscritus Shimada, Matsui, Yambun, and Sudin, 2011, Zootaxa, 2905: 42. Holotype: OMNH Am8069, by original designation. Type locality: " Liwagu River, 1500 m, Headquarters of Kinabalu National Park, Sabah, Malaysia".

English Names

None noted.

Distribution

Known from 500 to 1500 m elevation in Kinabalu National Park, and Mahua (1063 m elevation) in Crocker Range National Park, all in Sabah, Malaysia.

Comment

Confused with Meritogenys amoropalamus prior to its naming according to the original publication, although molecular analysis places it as the sister taxon of Meristogenys orphnocnemis.
