Andinophryne colomai Hoogmoed, 1985, Zool. Meded., Leiden, 59: 264. Holotype: RMNH 21905, by original designation. Type locality: "'Cabacera del Rio Baboso, cerca a Lita', Carchi Province, Ecuador".

Distribution
Known only from the vicinity of the type locality (Provincia Carchi, Ecuador, 1180-1400 m elevation).
