Type locality: "Masarang Mts., Matinang Mts., 3300 feet, and Takalekadjo Mts., towards Lake Posso, 3000 feet", Celebes, Indonesia; restricted to Takalekadjo Mts., towards Lake Possi, 3000 feet, by lectotype designation.
