Staurois wuyiensis Liu and Hu, 1975, Acta Zool. Sinica, 21: 266. Holotype: CIB 64I1211, by original designation. Type locality: Sanchiang [= Sangang], Chungan [= Wuyoshan City], Fuchuen [= Fujian Province], altitude 600 m, China.

English Names

Distribution

Forest streams of Zhejiang, northern Fujian and eastern Anhui, China.

Comment

Related to Amolops ricketti (as Staurois ricketti), according to the original publication. Fei, 1999, Atlas Amph. China: 244-245, provided a brief account, figure, and map. Huang, 1990, Fauna Zhejiang, Amph. Rept.: 83-84, provided an account (as Staurois wuyiensis) for Zhejiang populations. Fei, Hu, Ye, and Huang, 2009, Fauna Sinica, Amph. 3: 1570-1575, provided an account, figures, and range map, and included the species in their Amolops ricketti group. Fei, Ye, and Jiang, 2010, Colored Atlas of Chinese Amph.: 416-417, provided a brief account including photographs of specimens and habitat.
