Comment

Most similar to Amolops caelumnoctis, Amolops splendissimus, Amolops kaulbacki, and Amolops viridimaculatus according to the original publication. Biju, Mahony, and Kamei, 2010, Zootaxa, 2408: 43, suggested that the record of Amolops viridimaculatus from Nagaland by Ao, Bordoloi, and Ohler, 2003, Zoos' Print J., 18: 1117-1125, does not represent this species but should be reexamined.
