Staurois granulosus Liu and Hu, 1961, Tailless Amph. China: 233. Holotype: CIB 55321, by original designation. Type locality: Mao Xian, Sichuan, altitude 1500 m, China.

Amolops (Amolops) granulosus — Dubois, 1992, Bull. Mens. Soc. Linn. Lyon, 61: 321.

English Names

Sichuan Sucker Frog (Frank and Ramus, 1995, Compl. Guide Scient. Common Names Amph. Rept. World: 97).

Granular Torrent Frog (Fei, 1999, Atlas Amph. China: 234).

Distribution

Forest streams of eastern Sichuan and western Hubei, 650-1750 m elevation, China.
