Tomopterna damarensis Dawood and Channing, 2002, Afr. J. Herpetol., 51: 130. Holotype: TMP 83913, by original designation. Type locality: "pools in a riverbed . . . . Khorixas, northern Namibia (20° 22′ S, 14° 58′ E)".
