Ptychadena mahnerti Perret, 1996, Rev. Suisse Zool., 103: 757. Holotype: MHNG 2457.67, by original designation. Type locality: "Kenya, Kiambu district, Limuru, (01° 07′ S 36° 38′ E), marais herbeaux, 2250 m".
