Ptychadena broadleyi Stevens, 1972, Arnoldia, Zimbabwe, 5: 1. Holotype: NMZB (formerly UM) 25882, by original designation. Type locality: "rock face beside the Muluzi River on Mulanje Mountain, Malawi, at c. 930 metres above sea level".
