Phrynobatrachus danko Blackburn, 2010, Afr. J. Herpetol., 59: 39. Holotype: MCZ A-139529, by original designation. Type locality: "Federal Republic of Nigeria, Taraba State, Kurmin Danko Forest Reserve, N 07° 06′ 54.6″, E 011° 01′ 35.8″, ca. 1 500m elevation."

Danko Puddle Frog (original publication).

Distribution

Currently know only from the Kurmin Danko Forest Reserve on the western edge of the Mambilla Plateau in Taraba State, Nigeria.

Comment

Most closely related to Phrynobatrachus werneri and Phrynobatrachus manengoubensis according to the original publication.
