Phrynobatrachus dalcqi Laurent, 1952, Rev. Zool. Bot. Afr., 46: 25. Holotype: MRAC unnumbered, by original designation. Type locality: "Haute Lubitshako, 1.900-2.000 m., Terr. de Fizi, Kivu", Dem. Rep. Congo.

English Names

Kivu River Frog (Frank and Ramus, 1995, Compl. Guide Scient. Common Names Amph. Rept. World: 103).

Distribution

Fizi District in southern Kivu Province, eastern Dem. Rep. Congo, 1900-2000 m elevation.

Comment

Frétey, 2008, Alytes, 25: 99-172, summarized the literature. Not addressed by Zimkus, Rödel, and Hillers, 2010, Mol. Phylogenet. Evol., 55: 883-900, so not assigned to species group.
