Uperoleia micromeles Tyler, Davies, and Martin, 1981, Aust. J. Zool., Suppl. Ser., 29 (79): 46. Holotype: SAMA R17175, by original designation. Type locality: "in the Tanami Desert (28° 38′ S, 130° 25′ E), Northern Territory", Australia; corrected to 20° 38′ S by M. J. Tyler in Catullo, Doughty, Roberts, and Keogh, 2011, Zootaxa, 2902: 17.

Distribution

Widely distributed across the Tanami Desert of the Northern Territory and the Great and Little Sandy Deserts in Western Australia, extending to the north-eastern edge of the Pilbara craton near Port Hedland, Northern Territory and Western Australia.
