Uperoleia daviesae Young, Tyler, and Kent, 2005, J. Herpetol., 39: 604. Holotype: NTM 26524, by original designation. Type locality: "in the Howard River catchment (12° 32′ 15 E, 131° 07′ 17 S) 30 km southeast of Darwin, Northern Territory, Australia".

Known from the type locality in the Koolpinyah sand sheet of the Howard River catchment and in the sand sheet areas of the Elizabeth River catchment, Northern Territory, Australia.
