Bufo lemairii Boulenger, 1901, Ann. Mus. R. Congo Belge, Tervuren, Zool., 2: 1. Holotype: MRAC III, according to De Witte, 1930, Rev. Zool. Bot. Afr., 19: 250. Type locality: "Pweto, sur le lac Moero", southeastern Dem. Rep. Congo.

Bufo lemairei — Laurent, 1954, Publ. Cult. Companhia Diamantes Angola, 23: 133. Incorrect subsequent spelling.

Distribution

Always near permanent water in southern Rep. Congo, southern Dem. Rep. Congo, northern Botswana (Okavango Delta) and the Caprivi of Namibia, northern western Zambia, and northeastern and eastern Angola.
