Microhyla palmata Guibé, 1974, Bull. Mus. Natl. Hist. Nat. Paris, Ser. 3, Zool., 171: 1188. Holotype: MNHNP 1973.1146, by original designation. Type locality: "Ambana (Chaînes Anosyennes) (90 m)", Madagascar.
