Kaloula walteri Diesmos, Brown, and Alcala, 2002, Copeia, 2002: 1038. Holotype: PNM 6725, by original designation. Type locality: "at an elevation of 950 m on the southeast slope of Mt. Banahao, Barangay Lalo, Municipality of Tayabas, Quezon Province, Luzon Island, Philipines (14° 4′ N, 121° 29′ E)".
