Type locality: "Ho-hsi [=Hexi] ( . . .), Sichang [= Xichang Shi] Sikang Province [now part of Sichuan Province], 6500 ft. altitude", China. Synonymy by Liu and Hu, 1961, Tailless Amph. China: 289-291; Yang, 1991, Amph. Fauna of Yunnan: 233.
