Callula mediolineata Smith, 1917, J. Nat. Hist. Soc. Siam, 2: 224. Syntypes: BMNH 1916.4.17.3, 1917.5.14.41-44, and 1921.4.1.279-283, according to Parker, 1934, Monogr. Frogs Fam. Microhylidae: 82. Type locality: "Prachuap Kirikan, S. W. Siam [Thailand]".

Southern mainland (non-peninsular) Thailand and presumably into adjacent Cambodia; intervening Laos and southwestern Vietnam (Dac Lac Province).
