Kaloula kokacii Ross and Gonzales, 1992, Natl. Mus. Pap., Manila, 2: 55. Holotype: PNM 2043 (formerly USNM 183117), by original designation. Type locality: "from abaca near the Buadan River, Summit Boradan (8. 5 km W and 1 km N of Gigmoto), Gigmoto Municipality, Catanduanes Island [Philippines]. 13°48′N, 124°19′E; 200-300 m asl."

English Names

Catanduanes Island Narrowmouth Toad (Frank and Ramus, 1995, Compl. Guide Scient. Common Names Amph. Rept. World: 90).

Bicol Narrow-mouthed Frog (See statement of geographic range, habitat, and conservation status in Stuart, Hoffmann, Chanson, Cox, Berridge, Ramani, and Young, 2008, Threatened Amph. World: 626.).

Distribution

Known Catanduanes Island and the Bicol Peninsular of Luzon Island, Philippines, 200-300 m elevation.

Comment

Most similar to Kaloula kalingensis according to the original publication. See statement of geographic range, habitat, and conservation status in Stuart, Hoffmann, Chanson, Cox, Berridge, Ramani, and Young, 2008, Threatened Amph. World: 626.
