Gassó Miracle, van den Hoek Ostende, and Arntzen, 2007, Zootaxa, 1482: 31, noted that RMNH 221i8 could not be located. Dinesh, Radhakrishnan, Gururaja, and Bhatta, 2009, Rec. Zool. Surv. India, Occas. Pap., 302: 51, reported, apparently in error, that ZSIC A.100069 as a typel. Type locality: "Krawang", Java, Indonesia.
