Chaperina fusca Mocquard, 1892, Naturaliste, Paris, Ser. 2, 6: 35. Also Mocquard, 1892, Mem. Soc. Zool. France, 5: 194. Holotype: MNHNP 1891.49, according to Guibé, 1950 "1948", Cat. Types Amph. Mus. Natl. Hist. Nat.: 59. Type locality: "Sintang (Bornéo)".

Microhyla leucostigma Boulenger, 1899, Ann. Mag. Nat. Hist., Ser. 7, 3: 275. Syntypes: BMNH 1898.9.22.112-13 according to Parker, 1934, Monogr. Frogs Fam. Microhylidae: 104. Type locality: "Larut, Perak [Malaysia], 3000 feet". Synonymy by Smith, 1925, Sarawak Mus. J., 3: 8; Bourret, 1942, Batr. Indochine: 506; Inger, 1966, Fieldiana, Zool., 52: 140.

Chaperina beyeri Taylor, 1920, Philipp. J. Sci., 16: 333. Holotype: EHT 557, by original designation; now CM 3312 according to McCoy and Richmond, 1966, Ann. Carnegie Mus., 38: 244. Type locality: "upper Agusan, Mindanao, between Agusan and Simulao rivers (probably in Davao or near the Davao-Agusan line", Mindanao, Philippines. Synonymy by Smith, 1925, Sarawak Mus. J., 3: 8; Bourret, 1942, Batr. Indochine: 506; Inger, 1954, Fieldiana, Zool., 33: 414.
