Dyscophina volzi Van Kampen, 1905, Zool. Jahrb., Jena, Abt. Syst., 22: 708. Syntypes: Originally 3 specimens, including ZMA 5871, the remaining extant specimen; designated lectotype by Daan and Hillenius, 1966, Beaufortia, 13: 120. Type locality: "Tadjong Laut" (= Tandjong Laut), southern Sumatra, Indonesia.

Calluella volzi — Parker, 1934, Monogr. Frogs Fam. Microhylidae: 30.

English Names

Sumatra Squat Frog (Frank and Ramus, 1995, Compl. Guide Scient. Common Names Amph. Rept. World: 88).

Distribution

Sumatra; Malaya.
