Kalophrynus menglienicus Yang and Su, 1980, Zool. Res., Kunming, 1: 257. Holotype: KIZ 75I377, by original designation. Type locality: "Menglien, Yunnan, altitude 1040 m", China.

English Names

Menglien Grainy Frog (Frank and Ramus, 1995, Compl. Guide Scient. Common Names Amph. Rept. World: 90).

Menglien Narrow-mouthed Frog (Fei, 1999, Atlas Amph. China: 304).

Distribution

Known only from the vicinity of the type locality (Menglien, southern Yunnan, China; northern Vietnam, and likely in adjacent Myanmar and northern Laos.
